Our Affiliation with Duke Health
Scotland Cancer Treatment Center is an outpatient ambulatory clinic. Here, Duke Health oncologists deliver world-class cancer care. The Center has been affiliated with Duke for medical oncology services since it opened in 2000. In January 2014, the Duke affiliation expanded to include radiation oncology. This enhanced Duke affiliation allows the Center to provide the quality cancer care with all the additional benefits and support of the Duke system.
This affiliation means that our patients have access to important clinical trials and the latest research. Our medical and radiation oncologists and our physician assistants are all Duke affiliated providers, offering convenient and high quality care.

About the Cancer Treatment Center
Cancer care is best provided close to home in a comfortable and convenient setting. At Scotland Cancer Treatment Center both chemotherapy and radiotherapy are delivered in a beautiful and comforting facility by highly trained and caring professionals.
Significant resources have been invested in Scotland Cancer Treatment Center to offer you the care that you would expect to receive at a more urban medical center. Because our treatment resources are equal to those found in larger institutions, patients living and working in our area no longer have to travel out of town for care that requires long travel time. Our Center offers you the comfort of having treatment close to home and is spacious enough so a family member or friend can accompany you to your appointments.
Scotland Cancer Treatment Center offers patients access to the latest cancer treatment options. Chemotherapy, biotherapy radiation therapy, and supportive services are given in a very comfortable and relaxing environment.
The Center has eight examination rooms and a chemotherapy suite, accommodating ten patients, including two private beds for those who require a long stay or more privacy. Therapies are given in our treatment rooms in a very soothing environment daily.
Clinical Research
Clinical research is an important part of the continuum of care for treating oncology and hematology patients. Scotland Cancer Treatment Center is dedicated to finding new and better ways to treat cancer through research.
As an affiliate of Duke Health, Scotland Cancer Treatment Center provides access to trials sponsored by the National Cancer Institute, pharmaceutical companies and Duke Cancer Institute physicians.

500 Lauchwood Drive, Laurinburg, NC 28352. The Center is located in the Outpatient Wing of Scotland Memorial Hospital. Its entrance faces Highway 74 Bypass. Designated parking is available to Cancer Center patients.
