The Scotland Cardiovascular Center is a win-win situation for patients, community members, and for Scotland Health Care System. The coordinated care provided ensures patients receive the best care, at the best location, at the right time. When possible, we want to keep patients close to home for the majority of their cardiovascular needs, with health care professionals they know and trust.
Why a Partnership with FirstHealth of the Carolinas?
Because FirstHealth is excellent at providing cardiovascular care, and because Scotland Health Care System has had a long, successful relationship with FirstHealth to provide cardiac care. The Scotland Cardiovascular Center is a unique opportunity to tap into the expertise of FirstHealth to enhance and increase cardiovascular care in Scotland County.
The Scotland Cardiovascular Center is located in the Outpatient Wing of Scotland Memorial Hospital. Cardiovascular procedures are provided Monday through Friday every week. Coronary interventions are provided on Mondays and Thursdays every week.
