Who Is Eligible?

Mammo on the Go is available for women who:

  • Are 40 years of age or older
  • Have gone at least one year since their last mammogram
  • Are not currently experiencing breast symptoms such as lumps, localized pain, or nipple discharge
  • Can safely climb the mobile unit stairs and stand for approximately 10–15 minutes without assistance

Women under age 40 who are considered high risk may also qualify following an eligibility review by the Mammo on the Go team.


Affordable Screening Options

Scotland Health believes breast cancer screening should be accessible to everyone. Through the support of the Scotland Memorial Foundation, uninsured and underinsured patients may qualify for a free screening mammogram.


Scheduling Your Appointment

Appointments are required for Mammo on the Go services. Prior to your visit, our team will:

  • Pre-register you for your appointment
  • Verify and update insurance information
  • Coordinate results with your primary care provider or specialist
  • Ensure appropriate follow-up care if additional testing is needed
