Scotland Health Announces Plans for New Practice

Laurinburg, N.C. – Scotland Health has purchased the former Walgreens building located on Plaza Road. Scotland Health plans to relocate two Scotland Physicians Network practices located in Laurinburg into this building. Harris Family Practice and Wolonick Family Practice will join each other under a new name and relocate into the newly renovated space once completed. The expected completion date is mid to late 2024. 

Harris Family Practice and Wolonick Family Practice are currently home to eight providers and a retail pharmacy. Combining the two practices will allow more patients access to integrated and coordinated care as all existing and new patients will have access to primary and urgent care, along with the Pharmacy and Imaging services. The current Urgent Care located on the Scotland Memorial Hospital campus will remain in place serving our communities as well.

An Open House will be planned prior to the practice opening and a name for the practice will be announced at a later date.
