Breast Cancer Walk

By: Tracie Stubbs - Scotland Health Marketing

Scotland Cancer Treatment Center is proud to announce its Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, taking place on Tuesday, October 14th at 5:00 PM on the campus of Scotland Memorial Hospital.

This beloved community event brings together survivors, staff members, families, and supporters of all ages to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month and raise awareness for early detection and treatment.

The walk will begin in front of the WR Dulin Center and follow a 1-mile route around the hospital campus. For those unable to walk the full mile, golf carts will be available to ensure everyone can participate.

Highlights of the event include a special gift for survivors, vendor tables and door prize giveaways. It is encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness.

“We want this year’s walk to be bigger and better than ever,” said Jennifer Woodard, Director of Scotland Cancer Treatment Center. “It’s a powerful moment to celebrate survivorship, support one another, and show our community’s commitment to fighting breast cancer.”

No registration is required for general attendees. Survivors will register on-site and are encouraged to arrive early to receive their gift and enjoy the festivities.
