Scotland Health is proud to announce the opening of its new Scotland Hematology Clinic, a dedicated space designed to enhance care for patients with blood disorders and hematologic malignancies.
The clinic, opening on October 6th is located in a newly renovated building on the Scotland Health campus. This new clinic is part of a strategic expansion of services led by the Scotland Cancer Treatment Center. The move consolidates hematology services into a single, patient-focused location, improving access and continuity of care.
“This is a major step forward for our patients,” said Jennifer Wilkes, RN, BSN, OCN, Director of Cancer Center, Outpatient Infusion, Breast Surgery, and Palliative Care. “By centralizing hematology services, we’re able to offer more coordinated care and a better experience for patients navigating complex conditions.”
The clinic will be staffed by experienced Duke doctors, including Dr. Sejal Dave and Dr. Madhu Chaudhry. Also, by several Duke providers to include Kristin Niemyer, NP, Shannon Heaton, NP, and Christopher Barron-Graham, NP.
Patients will begin transitioning to the new location in the coming weeks, with updated signage and maps being distributed to ensure a smooth experience. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please contact the clinic at 910-291-7630.
