2025 Angel Ad social

Hospice of Scotland County has officially launched its beloved Christmas ornament fundraiser, offering the community a heartfelt way to honor loved ones while supporting compassionate end-of-life care and bereavement services.

This year’s ornament theme is “Angels”, with three beautifully crafted versions available:

  • A wooden angel adorned with white and gold brush strokes
  • A white beaded angel
  • A clear, crystal, glass suncatcher angel, perfect for a Christmas tree or year-round display in a window

Each ornament is hand-packaged with care by dedicated hospice volunteers, led by volunteer coordinator Bunny Hasty, who has overseen months of preparation.

“Every bow, every embellishment, every detail is a labor of love,” said Bunny Hasty. “We want each ornament to reflect the comfort and care that Hospice of Scotland County provides to families every day. These angels are more than decorations—they’re symbols of hope, healing, and remembrance.”

Attached to each ornament is a tag that reads:

“Faith makes all things possible. Love makes all things easy. Angels make all things beautiful.”

Ornaments are available for $10 each, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Hospice of Scotland County’s programs. They can be purchased at the Hospice office located at 610 Lauchwood Drive or by calling 910-276-7176.

This annual fundraiser not only supports vital services but also brings the community together in a shared spirit of giving and remembrance during the holiday season.
