wagram expansion 2026 social

Scotland Health is proud to announce plans to open a new medical complex in Wagram in 2027, reinforcing its long‑standing commitment to the Wagram community and expanding access to high‑quality healthcare services. The new facility will replace the existing Wagram Family Practice with a contemporary, patient‑centered medical complex designed to better serve Wagram and surrounding communities.

Wagram Family Practice was established in 1988 and has served generations of patients with a deep commitment to community‑based care. The practice is currently home to Dr. Matthew Manzo, Nurse Practitioner Mary Todd, and Physician Assistant Terri Weber, who continue to provide trusted primary care close to home.

The new medical complex will be located directly beside the existing practice, ensuring continuity of care while offering improved accessibility, expanded space, and enhanced comfort for patients. The thoughtfully designed facility will support better patient flow, easier entry, and a more welcoming environment for individuals and families.

The planned 8,600‑square‑foot complex will feature 11 exam rooms and state‑of‑the‑art technology, mirroring the modern design and capabilities found at Scotland Health’s sister practices in Bennettsville, Laurinburg, and Pembroke.

In addition to continuing primary care services, the new Wagram location will expand access to much‑needed services, including:

  • Urgent Care
  • On‑site X‑ray
  • Laboratory services

The expanded footprint will also allow room to grow providers and services over time, ensuring the practice can continue to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the Wagram community.

“This investment reflects our long‑standing commitment to Wagram,” said Dr. Shelly Lowery, Scotland Health’s CNO and Senior Vice President of Ambulatory Practices. “By building beside the existing practice and expanding services, we are demonstrating that Scotland Health is here for the long term—continuing to grow alongside the community we’ve proudly served since 1988.”

A ground-breaking date will be announced soon.
