Located just behind Scotland Regional Hospice's administrative offices on Lauchwood Drive in Laurinburg, Morrison Manor offers a home-like setting for patients and their families. Morrison Manor was named after Scotland County's own Emma Neal Morrison.
MORRISON MANOR OFFERS:
- 24-hour clinical staff providing the highest standard of personalized care
- 12 comfortable state-of-the-art bedroom suites offering privacy for patients and families in need of a quiet retreat
- Gathering areas allow families to make themselves at home in our common living room; our dining room where they can share meals; our bright, sunny solarium; and our chapel, which allows a quiet setting for reflection and reading
- An enclosed garden and covered porches for residents to gather with their friends and family.
STAFFING:
- Highly qualified Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Hospice Aides (CNA) care for patients 24 hours per day
- Other Hospice team members include our medical director, social workers, spiritual care coordinators, volunteers and dietary consultants who provide expert and compassionate care during the final stage of life.
GENERAL INPATIENT LEVEL:
- When the patient requires more intensive, skilled nursing care and symptom management
- When the patient is close to death without a caregiver, or in a challenging home situation
- Patients are closely monitored and discharged when the purpose for their admission is resolved.
MORRISON MANOR FEES:
- Clinical assessments determine the appropriate level of care. Many patients qualify for the General Inpatient level of care, which is fully reimbursed by Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
